Steps to Improve Lyme Related Migraines

In this video article I describe key supplements and prescription medicines to manage Lyme disease migraines.

In addition to these steps,

  • stop coffee and all caffeinated beverages for a few weeks to see if this helps,
  • limit or eliminate emotional toxins and stress that tends to trigger migraines,
  • try acupuncture,
  • try meditation, and/or
  • address Babesia if it is present in addition to addressing Lyme infection.

How to Manage Lyme Disease Migraines

Supplements and Prescriptions

Here is a list of supplements and medications, including dosing, mentioned in the video.

Supplements

  • Magnesium Citrate and Malate 150 to 200 mg, 2 or 3 pills a night before bed.
  • Butter Burr 50 mg, 1 pill 3 times a day.

Prescriptions

  • Imitrex 50 to 100 mg, take 1 at the beginning of a migraine to break it.
  • Desipramine 25 to 50mg, 1 pill at bed time.
  • Imipramine 25 to 50mg, 1 pill at bed time.
  • Atenolol 50mg, 1/2 to 1 pill 1 time a day.
  • Metoprolol 50mg, 1/2 to 1 pill 1 time a day.
  • Norvasc 5 to 10 mg, 1 pill 1 time a day.
  • Procardia 5 to 10 mg, 1 pill 1 time a day.
